Rainy Day

Its a rainy day her in Kazakhstan. It is about 67 degrees here and has been raining on and off all day. It has been raining a lot here. I'm sure all of you at home are wishing for rain since the heat is breaking the 100 degree mark! I can't believe how hot it is back home. We are almost down to 4 weeks left. We had a meeting with the lawyer today and she confirmed that our court date is August 11. We unfortunately also found out that there are no flights going out of almaty on the 2nd of September, so we will leave on September 3rd in the early morning instead. This is really annoying since we will then have to pay another night of rent for the apartment we will stay in and the Burners will leave on the 2nd. To get out on Lufthansa on the 2nd it would cost over $6,000 just for the one way ticket home. So we are stuck untill the 3rd. We will be changing our flights today. By the time we leave we will have been in Kazakhstan for 7 weeks! We are so adjusted to this time zone now that it will be very difficult for us and Christopher to adjust to U.S. time. I'm sure we will all have our days and nights mixed up! By the way, we are now all sick except for Keith!
