OK, Christopher said you can have more pictures now!
So we told Christopher that a bunch of people posted yesterday and he was so excited that he decided to give lots of pictures and a video today. We recieved our care package from Keiths' mom today. Just in time! We almost considered eating horse last night!!!! Hopefully our other care package should be here in the next 2-3 days. Then we will be happy. We now have pancake mix, Marshmellows, crackers, and a bunch of other things. Yeah!!!!! Comfort food! We took our translator and her family out to dinner last night and had a blast. Then shortly before we were going to leave a Kazakh man named Abay came over and started talking to us in English (not bad either). He wanted to show us Kazakh hospitality and invited us to his table for vodka and appetizers. Well in case any of you don't realize, it would be completely insulting if you decline. He proceded to purchase a $40 bottle of vodka, tongue and horse meat appetizers and cucumber and tomato salad. There were lots of toasts and way to much vodka. We have not drank vodka since the day at the lake. We call it the demon because they kept buying bottle after bottle at the lake and needless to say we had a very rough recovery. Abay was hilarious. Everything we said he kept saying "No Shit"? It is really funny to here a Kazakh person say no shit. By the time we tried to leave he wanted us all to go to the disco with him and his friend. He kept begging us to go with him but finally we were able to drag ourselves away from him. We leave to visit the babies at 8:30 in the morning so a night of vodka and dancing is not a great idea, especially that it starts with one bottle of vodka and by the time the night is over you can't remember how many you drank. The Kazakhs can drink!!! They have no problem with the vodka. We put a few pictures of last nights adventure on also.
