We had a great time last night. We went to the lake and had a picnic with our translater and the family and friends of our previous translater. We tried Kazakh food and toasted to our new friends. We spoke of our children and they seemed glad that they will have many opportunities in the United States. They hope that we will come back to visit someday with them. They told us they will be waiting here with open arms anytime we would like to return. One of them had never sat down for dinner with Americans. It was definately an experience that we will not soon forget. We laughed a lot and had a lot of good conversation. These are the memories that we can't wait to share with our child. The people here have really made us feel comfortable and we greatly appreciate that. It has been hard being so far from home. Our visit with Christopher yesterday was great as usual. He seems to have a little cold but it appears to be clearing up. He already has us trained! When you toss him up in the air he giggles like crazy but then when you stop he starts pouting and fussing! He wants us to keep tossing him up, although we don't mind. His smile melts our hearts! Here are a few pictures of yesterdays visit. His dimples are so cute!

Hey Chris, Janine-
The blog looks great and is really detailing your story. That kid is ridiculously cute, and I'm sure will bring you great joy and happiness.
Best of luck, and bring him round Syosset soon!
